Girl Smiling in Africa because of Bible translation

Around the world, there are believers who wait, hope, and pray that one day they can read, study, and share God’s Word in the language they understand, the language of their heart.

Some have seen a Bible . . . but only in a language that is not the one they use when they pray, when they cry out to God, when they teach their children about Jesus and His sacrifice.

This is why local churches and teams of believers are asking for the chance to translate God’s Word into their heart languages. They know that when these words go forth—words of grace, forgiveness, God’s commands and promises—lives will be transformed to the ends of the Earth!

Throughout the pages of this annual report, you’ll see how God is at work around the world through the prayers and partnership of friends like you who are helping advance the Gospel through Bible translation.

I pray you are encouraged by the heartfelt words of thanks from pastors, national Bible translators, and others who are being transformed as Scripture comes to life for the first time in their language. And encouraged even more by the deep gratitude in the faces of believers who have been equipped to launch Bible translation in all kinds of locations, from the most remote rainforest to the most extreme Islamic village.

Advancing the Gospel to the ends of the Earth: that is our prayer and our goal . . . and the way to meet this goal is through God’s Word.

Thank you for partnering with Wycliffe Associates and other believers to provide the tools, training, and technology needed to launch Bible translations that have the potential to reach millions of unreached people across our broken, fallen, hurting world.
