Angus with his church community

Back in September we reached out with tragic news about the murder in Cameroon of a beloved Bible translator, Angus Fung. He was ambushed and murdered in his home, one of six Christians who were murdered. His wife also was attacked and lost one of her arms as a result. She was recently released from the hospital.

When we broke the news, we urged our supporters to consider making a special donation to our Emergency 911 Fund to help meet the needs of Angus's surviving wife, their children, and other translators who are fleeing this dangerous war zone. We were asking God to provide $30,000 to help meet their immediate need for safe shelter, food, clothing, and other essentials. But the compassionate outpouring of support from caring friends like you has been remarkable, with $58,477 donated so far. We praise God for your generosity!

What a blessing and comfort you are to this hurting family in the midst of their horrific tragedy. Please continue praying with us that they would feel God's presence like never before and that the translation of His life-changing Word will continue to move forward despite the violence.
