Internship for Coders & Software Designers

We’re looking for interns to join 8 Weeks of Code this summer at Wycliffe Associates. Do you know a computer programmer or software developer aged 18-25? Please share this internship opportunity with them!

You're studying computer programming, design, or software engineering in college. You also feel a call to serve the Lord this summer for missions. Why not use your skills to do both?

8 Weeks of Code is a summer 2017 missions internship for computer coders, graphic artists, and software designers, working together to build open-source software to accelerate Bible Translation worldwide. Past 8 Weeks of Code teams created apps that are already in use on the field by national Bible translators!

8 Weeks of Code provides an opportunity to learn the Agile/Scrum methodology in action, learn from mentors, and learn from each other. You will also gain software development experience guided by seasoned professionals while worshipping God through your talents. Guest mentors have included technology and innovation executives whose careers are spent defining the leading edge.

The internship is from 6/12/17 through 8/4/17 and is located in Orlando, Florida. Housing and a food stipend are provided.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity to serve in this important role, visit 8weeksofcode.org. Please email us or call Ruben Garay toll-free at 1-800-THE WORD (800-843-9673). Ruben will provide you with additional details about the position, requirements and qualifications and assist you with the application process.

Thank you for praying and sharing this opportunity within your circles of influence to help us find the right team members for this year’s 8 Weeks of Code!
