Your support helped send a Print On Demand system just in time to print the Unlocked Swahili Bible*!
This young family worked long hours every day to help realize their dream of having the Unlocked Bible in Swahili.
Through the support of generous partners like you, Wycliffe Associates recently deployed a mobile Print On Demand (POD) system to our translation partner in Tanzania. And the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
In God’s providence, the POD arrived right as the translation of the entire Unlocked Swahili Bible* and 50 popular Bible stories were completed—just in time for printing and distribution. This was truly of God, as the new Swahili translation will be used as source text to translate Scripture for many other languages in the region.
Having this new source text means that no English speakers need to be involved in future Bible translation projects in Tanzania. The national translators can now host, teach, and manage the entire process—and faster than ever before.
