Do you or someone you know speak French, Swahili, Lingala, Fulfulde, or Malagasy? Please read on, for we need your assistance!

You've read about what God is doing through His local churches across the world with MAST. Accurate Bible translation in weeks or months for a fraction of the cost of previous methods. The news is thrilling from afar . . . but would you like to see it yourself?

We have a special opportunity: will you participate in the experience of training local churches using the MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation) methodology?

Wycliffe Associates is looking for volunteers to assist with MAST Workshops in locations all over the world. These are short missions trips that are two weeks long. As part of a MAST workshop team, you will directly support Bible translation by teaching MAST methodology to local church members and assisting them in the process of translating the Bible into their own native tongue. Not only will you play a vital role in training, you will be able to see translation occur and see the results of MAST firsthand.

You’ll receive specific MAST training and travel as part of a team. Teams will be led by experienced leaders and hosted by local Christians.

Qualities for participation on a MAST Workshop team include:

  • Working knowledge of French, Swahili, Lingala, Fulfulde, or Malagasy. If you do not have working knowledge of one of these languages but are fluent in English, please do contact us—we need your help in other regions!
  • Any level of Bible knowledge or training
  • Willingness to be flexible—not everything goes according to plan!
  • Willingness to learn the methodology in order to transfer that knowledge to national church members
  • Willingness to serve in a challenging location

The potential strategic impact of your service is truly limitless as you will be directly helping to advance Bible translation by teaching the MAST methodology to nationals so they may share God’s Word in their own heart language to those waiting.

Thank you for praying and sharing these opportunities within your circles of influence!
