Bible Translators in Ethiopia, some of whom had to learn brand new technology

Computer Tablets for National Translators (TNTs) are an answer to prayer for Bible translators in Ethiopia.

“I am a simple peasant,” the mother-tongue translator humbly said. “Before this workshop, I had not seen a computer tablet or touched one. But now I have learned to use it to translate God’s Word for my people!”

How wonderful that, through your support, God is equipping “the least of these” with state-of-the-art technology and ordaining these faithful servants as champions of Bible translation.

Recently partners like you made possible the deployment of 11 TNTs to assist national Bible translators in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The new tablets and training provided much-needed support for mother-tongue translators who are laboring to bring God’s Word to 13 language groups.

Among these are the Inor translators, who completed their New Testament last summer. With your continued support, they are now working to finish the Old Testament, too. Thank you for coming alongside national translators in Ethiopia and around the world—and for giving them the tools they need to carry out their calling.
